**[[Wikipedia:Section 8 (housing)|Section 8]] is a federal voucher-subsidized housing program in the United States.  Rental housing occupied by Section 8 participants is indeed generally low rent.  
**It might also refer to a [[Wikipedia:Section 8 (military)|Section 8 military discharge]].  In the TV series [[Wikipedia:M*A*S*H (TV series)|M*A*S*H]], Corporal Klinger tried to obtain one of these by wearing women's clothing, as Coach Z does here.
