* The pictures above Homestar's cabinet are changed for the holiday. They ordinarily show his changing appearance over the years. This time, they depict all his past [[Halloween costumes]] from 2000 to the present.
* This is the first time Homestar is mentioned as having a middle name ("Michael") in a toon. (In the DVD commentary for [[time capsule]], however, Marzipan offhandedly remarked that Hal was his middle name.)
