*Marzipan's costume has a small hole in it and you can see her pink flesh beneath, giving further evidence to the theory that her body is actually "skirt" shaped.
*Originally Coach Z's intro rap was: "Doot-doo-doot-doo, and I think I'll make ya fall right down on your face, but first let me introduce myself. My name is Hoodsey. Pronounced with an 'Oodsey.'"
*This is the first instance of [[The Cheat's Head Exploding]].
*If you watch in the background when the King of Town shows up, his little [[The Hornblower|trumpet player]] rides by as BC on his stone unicycle.

*Bubs' comment about the house that was giving out change is interesting; he went back ten times and made 35 dollars, implying that the inhabitant was giving out on average $3.18 per trick-or-treater—surprisingly generous.
*The length of this toon was originally listed as "?:??" on the Toons page. Now it is listed as 4 minutes. The new time is of course an estimate since viewers can choose their paths.
*The only candy that shows up twice is the Fun Size Butterfinger.


===Goofs===
*In the final scene where all of the characters are talking, Strong Bad's caption is misspelled: it should read "Carmen Sandiego," not "Carmen San Diego."
**Bubs' caption is also misspelled as "Mars Blackman" instead of "Mars Blackmon."

===Glitches===
*After Strong bad yells, "Open the freaking door," the door-opening sound plays, despite the door still being closed. (Note: There is a door opening sound when every character "knocks".)
*You can move the light switch even while the door is closed. Also, if you leave the light switch down, it will automatically go back up when the next person knocks.

===Inside References===
*Bubs' line when you give him the Dum-dum is a reference to [[A Jumping Jack Contest]].
*Marzipan notes at the end that Strong Sad wasn't invited this year. She is refering to the previous Halloween toon, [[Homestarloween Party]], in which they uninvite Strong Sad for the following year.
*The music that plays when Homestar rises up in the beginning is the same music from Homestarloween Party when he was flicking the flashlight.
*The skull and pumpkin are the same ones which served as the "play" buttons in the first two Halloween toons.
*By choosing Punchy (the Cheat) for best costume, the text will be preset as "I Choose YOU, Cheatachu". This may be a reference to the [[i she be]] Strong Bad e-mail, where the Cheat's AIM name is cheatachu72.
*Stuffing the pumpkin into the Poopsmith's mouth is a reference to Homestarloween Party, where the Poopsmith was seen bobbing for pumpkins and holding them in his mouth.

*Coach Z is dressed as Humpty Hump, the alter ego of Shock G, frontman for the rap group Digital Underground.  He also raps a couple lines from their biggest hit song, "The Humpty Dance," substituting his own name for Humpty Hump's.
*The joke involving The Cheat consuming Pop Rocks and soda is a reference to an urban legend that states that Mikey, the Life cereal mascot, died when consuming Pop Rocks and soda caused his stomach to explode. *When you drag the pumpkin onto Pom Pom and the Poopsmith, the music that is played is from the Zelda games, usually when you unlock something (like blowing up a wall with a bomb, thus creating a door). The particular sound music they use in the toon is from "A Link to the Past".
*Ronnie Pudding, the first name on Strong Bad's list of houses to egg, is the name of Spinal Tap's first bassist.
*When the King of Town shows up, the knight is wearing a piece of blue paper labeled "Idaho". This is a Simpsons reference, when Ralph wore the same thing as a pageant for the United States.
*Strong Bad greets you with "Where in the world is my candy?" while in the Carmen Sandiego costume. This is because Carmen Sandiego comes from a TV show and computer game called "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?"
*Strong Sad's comment on receiving the Campbell's soup is a reference to Andy Warhol's (whom Strong Sad is dressed as) series of paintings ''Campbell's Soup''.
