*Some of the sketches TBC display had been used previously in the liner notes of [[Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits]] and as Weekly Sketchbook images.
*Matt mentions that the Strong Badman style The Cheat looks like the creature from the film [[Wikipedia:Predator (movie)|Predator]].
*Amongst the sketches in the book not specifically drawn attention to is a small scribble of the Marvel Comics/Transformers character, [[Wikipedia:Death's Head|Death's Head]].
*"The Far Side" is the famous one'panel comic feature drawn by Gary Larson.
