Greetings, spuds and mutants.
This user page is brought to you at the request of AbdiViklas.

First question you might ask, why Stapler? And why have I written 9:42 on the heading?
Well, first off, Stapler is a nickname that was given to me at a little place called Camp Christopher, by a guy who thought my quiet, mumbling nature reminded him of the mumbling guy from the movie Office Space ("I believe you have my stapler..."). Next thing I knew it, everyone there was calling me "Stapler".
Secondly, nine and forty-two happen to be my favorite numbers, for rather specific reasons. Nine because I'm a rather big fan of The Beatles ("Number nine...Number nine..."), and forty-two because I love Douglas Adams, and The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (forty-two being the Ultimate Answer given by the computer Deep Thought, of course).

[edit] So who am I, really?

I am a carbon-based bipedal life-form of the planet Earth, or so most are led to believe. I come from a race of primates that have de-evolved from a long line of brain-eating apes.
I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of three, and have lived there ever since. That's in Canada, by the way...You know, that large mass of land probably North of you? Shouldn't be too hard to find.
So what else can I say? I enjoy music. More or less my life at this point. It all started back around Grade 2 when I started taking piano lessons, a process I have continued now for approximately nine years. I play two other instruments as well: Clarinet (for school band; about five years experience) and guitar (electric, usually; about two years experience).
As for music I enjoy, well...Rock and classical music for starters. I also tend to like rather strange music, as well. You know, the kind where you're like, "What were they on when they wrote this?" This may be because my first real love for music was novelty and comedy music, when I first heard artists like "Weird Al" Yankovic, Tom Lehrer, and The Arrogant Worms. At the same time, I developed my love for John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, a love which has continued since.
Nowadays, my obsessions include: The Beatles, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Devo, Frédéric Chopin, Monty Python, and Homestarrunner.com, of course.
I am currently 16 and in Grade 11 at Bedford Road Collegiate, Saskatoon.

[edit] How and when I found Homestarrunner

Ah, well, I believe my first encounter the summer before Grade 9 (so over two years ago), when I saw the video "Everybody To The Limit". A little while later I began to hear more about this site from various people and came back to see more. I recall distinctly that the first Strong Bad e-mail I ever saw was "Children's Book" (which was the newest at the time), and the first Teen Girl Squad issue I saw was #4.

[edit] So long, and thanks for all the fish...

That's all I've got for now. For further philosophical and scientific insight, please refer to:
