Tangerine Dreams is so named because it is the page title for the email "weird dream", in which Strong Bad uses The Cheat's orange-colored computer to answer an email.

Tangerine Dreams is The Cheat's iMac computer. He uses it to make Flash cartoons including: The Cheat Theme Song, Everybody to the Limit, a main page, and many more.

"Tangerine Dreams" also is the name of a song sung in a Pete and Pete episode.

Tangerine Dream is a famous prog rock group from the last 4 decades. Their music is often mocked for being cheesy and new agey, although they still continue to record today.

The Real Computer

The computer that appears in Labor Dabor appears to be a Rev. D iMac running the Classic MacOS (System 8 or 9). However, in the cartoons the CD-ROM drive seems to be slot-loading, whereas the iMacs never had slot-loading untill Revision E, when the Tangerine color was discontinued. The computer carries its normal tray-loading drive in Labor Dabor.

The logo on Tangerine Dreams (also the same logo on the Tandy 400), a rainbow-colored star with a "bite" taken out of its side, is a play on the old Apple logo, an rainbow apple with a bite missing.
