Michael Jackson, widely known as the King of Pop, was an American musician and one of the most commercially successful and influential entertainers of all time. His work had an effect on and is referenced in the Homestar Runner body of work.

  • Fan Stuff — On Fan Stuff Page 17, the caption jokingly suggests that Homestar Runner is dressed up as Michael Jackson from "Bad". (He's actually dressed up as Neo from The Matrix trilogy.)

  • Email your funeral — Coach Z's dance moves and facial expressions refer to Jackson's "Thriller" music video. Also referred to is Strong Bad's "mouth full of grape jelly".
  • Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Homestar sings "Billy Dee" to the tune of "Billie Jean".
  • email Videro Games — Strong Bad was singing "We are the World" at the beginning, which was a song Michael Jackson wrote and performed, along with USA for Africa.
  • email the movies — Strong Bad sings that "Coach Z is not that cool" to Billie Jean's (a 1982 song by Michael Jackson) tune.
