==Redirecting to anchors on a page that is moved==
 +
Here's something I've just noticed: If a page is a redirect to a section on another page, and the larger page is moved, the redirect goes to the new title of the page and erases the anchor in the redirect. In terms of variables: A redirects to B#A. B is moved to C. A is now a double redirect to C instead of C#A despite the fact that C#A remains on the page. Is this a problem, and if so, is there a wire (or formula or something) that can be written to prevent it from happening? Or would that be too complicated a task? If it's not a problem, why does it do that? {{User:The Knights Who Say Ni/sig}} 03:33, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

[edit] Interwiki Links

We could add a section discussing Interwiki links such as those described here. However, I think this has been discussed somewhere else I just can't remember where. Nevertheless, Tom's mention of having [[Wikipedia:article|]] would prove to be useful. --Stux 23:24, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Definently. I'm surprised it's not already somewhere on that page. Thunderbird 23:27, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
It is on Help:Editing, but I've added it to this page (I'm not quite happy with how I worded it though...) --phlip TC 00:03, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Search

There should be a tutorial on making search links on HRWiki. E.G. I searched for vague and I vant to put that into a link that might be formatted something like [[Search#Vague]], but either I don't know how, it's not in this help section, it isn't a tutorial at all, or the format just doesn't exist. If it meets the first or second criteria, please respond with a link to the page that shows how it is done. If it meets the third or fourth criterior, please make one for the benefit of all discussing users in Homestar Runner Wiki. ——Supuhstar* Image:Supuhstar(SupuhSmall).gif

It should be shift-backslash. Look near the enter key. — Defender1031*Talk 00:36, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
