The Bug flew into Homestar's mouth in "Bug In Mouth Disease", making Homestar think the good times were over.
The Bug is very similar to many toddler books such as Winnie the Pooh, where the bees (or bugs, as this toon translates them) fly around in nearly the same flight pattern, as well as having a similar dotted trail.
This Bug's style mirrors the style of the the bugs that fly around Mr. President's head in Super Milk Chan.
It's 1936 version is the moth in That A Ghost.
