I don't think we have the correct date for this event. The article initially gave the date of August 15 before being "corrected" to July 21. However, neither of these dates are possible, for one very good reason: Gen Con 2018 was held from August 2–5! According to both an official Kickstarter announcement and the Gen Con event catalog, four playthroughs were hosted across August 2nd and 3rd — therefore this livestream has to have been on one of those two days. (sidebar: I suspect the current erroneous date comes from misinterpreting this @StrongBadActual tweet (21 Jul 2020) as "I'll come by the booth later today" rather than "I'll plan to be at the convention in a week and a half")

However, I'm unable to actually determine the correct date apart from narrowing it down to those two. I can't find an archive of an announcement or streaming page, and there's no giveaways from the transcript (e.g. saying "enjoy the rest of your Friday!") to more accurately place it. -- Bleu Ninja 21:05, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
