If you don't wanna wait through the months of production and shipping and The Cheat-related excuses, come play the Trogdor board game [at Gen Con] with me and some scruffy old brothers and maybe a flaming peasant!
Gen Con 2018 was a gaming convention held from August 2–5, 2018 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Brothers Chaps, accompanied by Puppet Strong Bad, attended the convention to promote Trogdor!! The Board Game — at the time, the unreleased game's Kickstarter was still ongoing (the fundraising campaign would conclude shortly after the convention, on August 15). Several playtesting demos were held, allowing fans to play the game alongside Mike and Matt Chapman. In addition, the Chaps were at the booth of the game's developer Cheapass Games and participated in a game of Celebrity Secret Hitler. Several toons were screened in hourlong blocks throughout the convention. An announcement that they would be at the con was posted to Twitter on June 14, 2018 and as a Kickstarter update on July 31.
