Content Legality

TBC hold trademarks on the names and likenesses of their characters, so to recreate their images for commercial gain is against civil law. Public use for artistic reasons is a grey area, depending on what he does. If he makes a toon that looks and sounds like Homestar Runner with the intent of mimicking them and not, for example, parodying them he could get a nasty letter from a lawyer.
