The Brothers Chaps have made lots of references in the Homestar Runner body of work to the video game series known as The Legend of Zelda.

Appearances

• The House that Gave Sucky Treats — When the pumpkin is given to The Poopsmith, the "secret revealed" jingle from the series plays. It particularly comes from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
• Email japanese cartoon — One of the "NES Endings" that can be seen at the end is from the original The Legend of Zelda.
• Peasant's Quest — The save screen resembles the one from The Legend of Zelda.
• Halloween Potion-ma-jig — Homsar is dressed as Tingle from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Like the character in which he is portraying, Homsar throws confetti and is also seen floating on a balloon. Homsar's line spoken here also refers to Tingle's selling of maps.
• Why Come Only One Girl? — "The Hurricane" never appeared because The Bros. Chaps were distracted by the new Legend of Zelda game. Homestar Runner responds to this with "Why, Ganondorf, why?!", and then captures Marzipan in a bottle similar to how Link does with faeries, while singing the "item received" jingle from the series.
