In 2001, Abdi LaRue made Homestar Runner history as the first of hundreds to have an email personally answered by Strong Bad. Future Strong Bad Emails would make brief tribute to this unknown figure.

- flashback — Abdi's email appears on the Compy 386's screen.
- pom pom — Strong Bad draws a "couple Abdis and a Viklas" while playing cards with emails.
- fan club — Strong Sad informs the other Deleteheads that Abdi will appear at the FHQWHfest.
