If this article is ever picked for the main page, leave out the dialog. --The Real Zajac 12:27, 2 Apr 2006 (PDT)

Okay, thanks. Thunderbird 05:26, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Caleb Rentpayer = Homestar

Caleb's voice sounds an awful lot like Homstarrunner. I'm not suggesting that this is on purpose just a similarity that might be mentioned

I believe that is how the chapman brothers thought that Caleb Rentpayer should sound. I don't think that they would have any intention to make it sound like Homestar Runner.--H*Bad 13:27, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

You can't speculate upon what Caleb and Tucksworth are going to say, Wiki!

Am I the only one who considers it speculation to write that each of the quotes from Caleb Rentpayer follows one of those patterns? I'm not aware of a pattern they used more than once, unless you count Strong Bad's omlette line. Are there any used more than once? Bad Bad Guy 01:06, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree. Even with the two listed occurances, it's pretty bold to claim that "a typical episode would follow these dialogue formats". Loafing 23:04, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Since Tucksworth and Homestar use the "Did you action (shoot Caleb)/I sure did" pattern, that's the only one we can confirm has been used more than once, since Tucksworth also used it with Caleb (make a tent out of my shirt). And I don't think there's anything else to say for that last pattern. As seen below, Caleb has never said, "I sure did." Bad Bad Guy 01:25, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Here's all the Caleb Rentpayer quotes:
Tucksworth: You can't marry your guitar, Caleb!
Caleb: I can try!

T: Caleb, that hamburger was mine!
C: It's mine now!

T: Caleb, were you making a little tent out of my shirt?
C: I am now!

C: You throw like a girl, Tucksworth.
T: Caleb, that suitcase was heavy!

T: Why aren't you breathing, Caleb?

T: Homestar Runner, did you shoot Caleb?
h*r: I sure did!
To assume from these quotes that there are 4 patterns would be like if you assumed from 4 different email quotes there were 4 patterns for that. Maybe we should post these on the page, or redo the whole article. Bad Bad Guy 05:41, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Loafing, if no one objects by March 25, can I delete those patterns? Bad Bad Guy 23:23, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
