"Wood-davers" are the arts and crafts project proposed by Strong Sad, in the email caffeine. He mentions them again in boring (really).
One theory states that a wood-daver is a birdfeeder commonly made in Girl/Boy Scouts, where one puts peanut butter on a pinecone and rolls it in birdseed.
