Stand-up arcade games appear frequently in the Homestar Runner universe. Strong Bad especially has an affinity for them.

Appearances

• Arcade Game — Strong Bad plays the arcade game TROGDOR! with Strong Mad, The Cheat and Homestar Runner looking on.
• strongbad_email.exe discs 1-6 — The TROGDOR! arcade game serves as the menu for the bonus material. Strong Bad will begin playing the game if you fail to make a selection quickly enough.
• Theme Song Video — Arcade games Dokle and Dokle 2 are seen in Skatetown, USA.
• Email the bet — Strong Bad finds that The King of Town owns the arcade game Typing Tutor Turbo.
• Scrolling Shooter Games Menu — The menu itself is designed to look like a vertical scrolling shooter arcade game.
• Email pizza joint — A virtual version of the TROGDOR! arcade game is one of the items Strong Bad buys with his Pizz Points.
• Homestar Ruiner — The TROGDOR! arcade game reappears but is broken because Strong Sad hasn't fixed it.
• Strong Badia the Free — The TROGDOR! arcade game reappears, but it continues to torment Strong Bad with its "brokenness" and "not-workingosity."
• Baddest of the Bands — The broken TROGDOR! arcade game reappears since the new parts haven't arrived.
• Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Strong Bad says Dangeresque's catchphrase "looks like I'm gonna have to jump" before jumping in the air towards the TROGDOR! arcade cabinet.
• 8-Bit is Enough — The TROGDOR! arcade cabinet plays a significant role in the game, coming to life after Strong Bad crashes into it. In extended play, Strong Bad can play an all-new Trogdor game on it.

Out-of-Universe

• Poker Night at the Inventory — After losing all his money and being expelled from the game, Strong Bad will wander over to a stand-up arcade cabinet (Buster Blaster from Sam & Max) in the background and play it for the remainder of the round.
