Strong Sad's Tape Player is a 70's-style tape recorder. These machines lack a radio and are just simple record and playback devices using audio cassettes. Strong Sad has used his to play various sound effects in a few different locations, including a cheering sound to support the Homestarmy in the email army, and a "spooky" sound on Main Page 23 when the user's mouse hovers over "E-mail". It was also stolen by Strong Bad so that he could win the "Strong Sad Lookalike Contest" by hiding it under a faded gray college sweatshirt in the email impression.
