It is unclear who his modern counterpart may be. It could be the owner of Galoob. He could also be Homsar, since he is wearing his trademark hat. It is possible that the Bossman was an early idea for a 1936 King of Town (the characters share the same eyes, mustache, "leadership" role, and paunch); however, Matt Chapman has indicated that the Kaiser is the current 1936 KoT [1]. Until he is shown in a more discriptive role, it is quite impossible to say for certain just who the Bossman is.
