On March 14, 2005, The Brothers Chaps appeared at the "South By Southwest" festival in Austin, Texas. They showed many things including footage of Puppet Homestar Runner touring the Austin area filmed earlier that same day. At this presentation, viewers were shown similiar material to that seen at the NYU Talk which occured two weeks prior.

{Matt is holding a puppet version of Homestar}
MATT: {voice of Homestar} Um, Mike? Are you ready to roll yet?
MIKE: I'm afraid not, my friend.
MATT AS HOMESTAR: {(groans)}
MIKE: There's too many files on this computer.
MATT AS HOMESTAR: Too many files. you need to defrag.
