I was born March 18, 1995 in a hospital in South Carolina. We used to live in an apartment, because we couldn't afford a house at the time. When my father (a carpenter) started to build our house, we stayed in a boarding house. After a while, it was finished, and we moved in.

The first year living in the house, we nearly froze to death. I was really afraid of fires, and the heater had broken. Oh joy. That year, my younger brother, Joseph, was born.

All I can remember here is that my little sister, Shelley, was born.

I remember at the end of being 4 years old, I had to get shots for Kindergarten. 4 of them. Ouch.

I absolutely loved Kindergarten. I usually woke up like 2-3 hours earlier than I was supposed to. I took nap-time for granted. Darn.

This was a scary year for me. My brother, Joseph (Joe), had a horrible disease, and stayed in the hospital for 3 days. The docter said it was the worst case of the disease he had ever seen. He had blisters covering his leg, he couldn't walk, and his kidneys nearly shut down. He could have died.

This was the year of my first crush. His name was Caleb, and I liked him. A lot. I also switched schools that year.

I began to like Caleb more and more. He also seemed to like me, because he always sat by me in lunch. Aww.

Ah, I'm almost 11, so I'll go ahead and do this one. I broke my arm this year, and it was a bad break, too. Right on the elbow joint. I almost had to get surgery, to put a pin in. Hurricane Katrina came this year, and that was a big deal. I made a new friend this year, Alexis. Her father died of kidney failure, and her stepdad is a real pain.

Year 1
