Homestar and The Cheat team up for some real life jams!

Cast (in order of appearance): Puppet Homestar Runner, Puppet The Cheat pe {Shows title screen, then cuts to Homestar and the Cheat}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Oh, yeah?

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Oh, okay. Mash play on that jambox.

{The Cheat leaves}

{music starts to play, cuts to the Cheat holding an inflatible boom box, then to the Cheat's hand playing keyboard, then to Homestar}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Everybody knows it.

{Cuts to the Cheat's hand playing keyboard, then to Homestar}

{The Cheat dances with Homestar, then Homestar is alone again.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: So I guess it's back to putting dog food in my shoes, huh?

THE CHEAT: {affirmative The Cheat noises}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Okay. See you later!

{Both of them walk off.}

Easter Eggs

• During the toon, there are three links in the black area below the video. The text is the same color as the background (Click and drag to highlight.) They say "lookit me!", "no, me!", and "whu bout me?". Click on them and you'll get some behind-the-scenes photos. (Note: To access this easter egg you must be watching the full page version of the toon, not the popup version from the website. The full page version is linked to at the bottom of the page.)

Fun Facts

• The glasses worn by Puppet Homestar are the "cool shades" seen throughout the Homestar Runner website.
• This was originally called "Whoa! Puppets", and then "Puppet Thing", and now "Everybody Knows It".
• Homestar's song is a parody of public service shorts that ran during Saturday morning cartoons in the 1980s.
• This song was actually heard in labor day first, which is why Homestar's voice seems cut off.
• This was first put up as a Quicktime video, and then later as a Flash file, so people who didn't have Quicktime didn't need to install it.
• In the easter egg photos, the baseboards and windows seem to have blue painter's tape where they meet the wall, perhaps the walls were recently painted.
