Strong Bad used him to show the unfortunate effects of having the name "Anonymous" as a name. Also, Anonymous once had his hands glued to his butt, as Strong Sad did in 1 step ahead.
Anonny's name may also have come from Strong Bad In Jail Cartoon, where Homestar says he found Strong Bad with an anonymous tip from Strong Sad.
