Text Quest is a game that appears briefly in the E-mail birds. The game is not listed anywhere else, such as the Videlectrix website, so one can only presume it is from another source. Or it was written by Strong Bad himself prior to the episode.
Appearence
At the end of the episode, Strong Bad proclaims "That put me in the mood for a little text adventure. I'll talk to you guys later!", clears the screen, and bring up the following text:
Welcome to Text Quest
You are in a hallway. Obvious exits are West, South,
and Over There. Around you is a dagger and another
dagger.
What will you do?
After strong bad types in "Get dagger", the game is confused to what he said. This parodies difficulty of playing many text adventures, particularly older ones.
Fun facts
- The game was played on the Tandy 400.
- It later inspired the game Thy Dungeonman.
