Rankin/Bass was an American production company known for its seasonal animated stop motion holiday specials, mostly on Christmas and winter. Their more notable specials are "Frosty the Snowman", "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".
