I'm noticing that you're labeling your talk posts "<code><nowiki>[[User:Kumquaticus|*BOOM!*Kumquaticus*BOOM!*]] [Date and Time (UTC)]Kumquaticus</nowiki></code>". I assume the code you are using to add your talk page comments is "<code><nowiki>[[User:Kumquaticus|*BOOM!*Kumquaticus*BOOM!*]] ~~~~Kumquaticus</nowiki></code>"?

You do not need to add "Kumquaticus" to the end of "<code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>". The function of "<code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>" is to replace that text with the date and time from when you saved the page. You're probably getting this confused with something like, "<code><nowiki>{{User:Kumquaticus/sig}} [Date and Time (UTC)]</nowiki></code>". Anything that is surrounded by curly brackets (as in my example) signals MediaWiki to embed a page (in my example, a signature subpage in your userspace) into another one. I hope this clears things up; I'm not too sure how well I did explaining that. --[[Special:Contributions/75.5.176.233|75.5.176.233]] 02:01, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

:Thanks! I was wondering why that kept happening. I'll be sure to fix it. [[User:Kumquaticus|*BOOM!*Kumquaticus*BOOM!*]] 22:03, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

:::Sorry. "<code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>" replaces that text with your signature (if you have one) and the date and time from when you saved the page. --[[Special:Contributions/75.5.176.233|75.5.176.233]] 03:11, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
