Here's the problem:

I've had my DS for a long time, and about a month ago, it broke.
It still works, its just that the top screen fizzed out on me. All I can see is a grey box where the top screen is.
Touch screen is fine though. Anyways, I have almost enough money to buy a new one, but I also can send it to be fixed. Since it takes 4-6 weeks for it to be fixed, I might have enough to buy a new one by then.

So, should I fix it, or buy a new one?
What would be smarter?

I say have it fixed. It'll probably be cheaper that way.

Get it fixed, buy a new one, trade back the old one, BAM! New DS for free.
