Wouldn't it be sweet if the Brothers Chaps released some Homestar games through Wii's Virtual Console?

I'd like to see Stinkoman for the TurboGrafx-16. That would rule, I'd pay $6 for that!

They can probably get their hands on a VC dev kit, from what I hear dev kits for actual Wii games only run $2000, so I imagine the VC kits are pretty cheap.

no, that would be selling out, and everyone will be all "WTF!! TBC R SELLIN' H*R OUT!!! NOT FUNNY ANYMORE!!!!"

now that i did that, only use it to illustrate a point.
now then, yes, it would be selling out, and it will lose it's charm as a hilarious webtoon, as cool as it would be.

I don't think it would necessarily be selling out. That is if they made something really huge and fantastic. But selling something like Stinkoman? No, it wouldn't work.

Besides, I've heard Nintendo has quite high standards when it comes to game developing. They don't hand out devkits to just about every basement-based independent codehead out there (not saying TBC are such people).

Not to mention, TBC already have their hands full with Strong Bad e-mails etc.

How is it selling out to get money for a great product that you made? That's like saying that Nintendo is selling out because they're charging for the Wii. Just because TBC haven't charged for their stuff before, doesn't mean they don't have every right to.

If there were more characters and more levels and more detail and a character vs. battle mode(like in Super Smash Bros). I'd pay the casual $30.

Otherwise, screw stinkoman.

Had to.

But seriously, I think I'm speaking for a few people on this forum when I say, I would hate it if TBC released a game or really anything on anything but Homestarrunner.com. It just wouldn't seem right. I mean, aren't they making enough money off shirts and whatnot?

And as Ready For Prime time said,

I meant if they created a video game of it.

Not the original.

TG-16 games on the Virtual Console cost a paltry $6, that's less than most of the products in the Homestar Store.

*shrug*
