:pom: I thought it was great! Loved the PBTC short. would be great too see those versions of the H*R charectors tied into a sbemail.

The Limozeen short wasnt so great, but all in all it was enjoyable!

I liked this toon, except for the Limozeen scene. I would have liked to see a KOT/The Poopsmith scene, too.

Most likely.

I'm with the rest of you on this one--the Pom-Pom bit was the coolest thing ever. What was hilarious about it was that he went through all of that...just to deliver deodorant. Nice to see him back in the game.

I think I might have liked the Limozeen part better if I could actually hear the words to the song.

I don't think I particularly liked the prehistoric bit either, I dunno, just didn't strike me as funny (although the Coach Z pteradactyl was stupidly cute).

The image of the Cheat stuffing his face with french fries only made me laugh because I happen to know someone who actually does that.

And a lovely, four-star debut for the new baby! Can't wait to see more of her.

...but I wonder who was stuck posing for the picture of the short-shorts.

Welcome back, Windee! Either you left or you only lurk now.... something tells me it's the latter.

Anyway, yeah, nice toon. Um, I not spam. I didn't really like the PBTC thing.

Hey, newbie. Please don't kill.

I thought it was ok. It was a kind of strange format from other 'toons but Pom Pom's short was excellent. Limozeen's? What the Marzipan was that? I actually changed windows during that part.

Also, am I the only one that noticed the title "Summer Short Shorts" may be a reference to Camp Counselor Short Shorts in TGS 11?

Heh, I like this concept. Vignettes are always good. The best part was definetely Homestar's speech at the end...

:hr: :You and me? Soggy napkin.

And the easter egg was of course awesome. Hooray for the very, very little girl!

Apperently not, because someone put that reference up on the Wiki a while ago.

I just saw this toon, and it was nice to see Pom-Pom again. But no Bubs? Ahh well, you can't have them all I guess.

Me, I liked it. I love how they just move from one stupid thing to the next. It's awesome. I wish that the pace were faster, believe it or not.

I bet they'll be watching the response to see which styles the fans liked, and thus what they may want to do more of.

I need to see a battle between :pom: and...
THE UNGARAITS!

Man, those guys are SO ninjas.

Wow, at first I was expecting the resurrection of Homestar's Daisy Dukes, but I was (un)pleasantly suprised to see that was not the case. All in all, very funny, and an excuse to change my sig.

Yeah, with the page title "Dare to Bare!" and the name of the toon... well, let's just say I was expecting something very very different from what we got. *evil grin*

Funnily enough, I feel like I'm the only one who didn't like the first part. That just wasn't funny to me. But I did like the Limozeen bit. Huh. I'm all bear rackwards.

Man, that was like, old times or something. Good eye to whoever caught that the bar scene was from the theme song video.

Holy craaaap.

I'd like to withdraw anything negative I've EVER said about The Pom thanks to this toon.

That PBTC one was priceless. xD The sound-effects...Oh, man. 'Bliddily-bliddily-bliddily-bliddily-bliddily'. xD

Awesome +

Very good toon. I liked The Cheat stuffing his face with french fries and the PBtC stuff. And Homestar's shirt ideas.

Looks like Limozeen's song turned out to be the quote of the week; good news for those who liked the limozeen short, but bad news for those who didn't. I always wondered: Do the Bros. Chaps choose the quotes they like best, or do they take requests from nearby fans? I do believe there are three types of quotes: regular, outtake, and exclusive.

That was terrific. Loved the Pom Pom bit. But does anybody remember an interview or something where TBC said they might make a pom pom fighting game? This could possibly be the start of that. Does anybody else remember this or am I going mad? They should make a full Caveman Homestar cartoon. Yay!

You're not going mad -- it's in the DVD commentary for the e-mail "pom pom".

And on the subject of the cartoon... I loved it pretty much in its entirety, although the Pom Pom and Homestar short was a little weird, as everything else had been a bit more of a visual element acting towards the joke (or the amusement, in the case of the Limozeen bit), so suddenly I found myself thinking "Whoa, okay, everything in this one's in the listening of it" and as such having to suddenly switch how I was watching it, which was a bit weird. Everything else was good, though, and for some reason I found PBTC Strong Bad's "Oh, me too. I am not exempt" particularly hilarious, just because it was such a peculiar way to break the fourth wall (in a sense).

So I'd say it's satisfyingly sound. (<--astutely applied alliteration)

The Pom Pom part was real good. Nothing else was worth the time (though the prehistoric part wasn't unbearable). The comedy is now just pure absurdism; there's no grounding whatsoever in reality. There's no subtlety to the nonsense. When all the viewer comes to expect is pure nonsense, there can be no surprises. A flower out of a shoe? Do they just string random words together now?
Weclome Back was good, but other than that, it's been entirely too long since I've seen something funny on Homestar.

you dont think homestar is funny anymore, so you decide to join a forum...

anyways, i thought it was pretty good. like everyboyd else, i enjoyed the Pom Pom part. I've been waiting for Pom Pom to show us more of his martial arts skills for the longest time. I actually posted that on the forum several times. so, it was fulfilling.

those short-shorts were creepy....*shudder*

I wonder how many french fries The Cheat had in... umm... "her" mouth before "she" spat out those three...

... I'm confused, is The Cheat male or female now? ;_;

Everything in that was good but the best part was the stuff with Pom Pom. Though the Cheat eating too many French fries was funny too.

Seriosuly, what the heark were they thinking with the Limozeen bit? It wasn't funny... or awesome... or even that catchy.

At least we got Pom Pom back. I missed him.
