What the crap, Digimon keeps showing up in my web surfing today. I always thought that show was pretty cool because it actually did use religious symbolism, which is very unusual for a kids' show.

well, ive started e-mailing the writer of that harry potter article. the response i got is below what is obviously written by me, this also includes what i am going to send as a Re:

Quote:
wait a minute... evidence to back up that because of harry potter that STD's have given a rise in children? i would love to see this evidence. also, what do you mean taht all of the houses in Hogwarts stand for an STD? if i may recall, that the reasons STD's have risen in america is because of the generation from the 60's free love and sex which had spred them? also ,concerning "nearly Headless Dick", his name is not 'Dick' it is 'Nick'. also, one final thing, you call a book made for children "Satanic" and yet you call Cthulhu, Father Dagon, Mother Hydra, Yog-Sothoth, Azathoth, Hastur, The Elder things, the Great old ones, the Necronomicon, Ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn, Rl'yeh, A Church and Cult of Cthulhu, May Eve, Sarnath, Shoggoths, Cyclopean cities, the impending doom of being Eaten by Great Cthulhu, Marvel Shadowed innsmouth, the Great Race, and Charles Dexter Ward are not of Satanic nature? i dont seem to get you people, you all say one thing that children Love is satanic, yet when there are books filled with 1920's racism/sexism, Demonic Monsters of decent from the Ancient ones, The horror fileld dreams of a Man, that fill the shelves of book stores, you would rather complain about a stupid book about some boy who waves a magical wand and gets what he wants?

I'm not surprised; the Bushes saw to it that since
1974 bestiality - in private, with an animal of the
opposite sex - became legal again.

Think Lovecraft is pretty innocent, if you compare him
to Crowley, who raped frogs in the streets of London.

Coming soon, on screens worldwide, Lurlene's diatribe
on how the Hogwarts Houses all stand for an STD, rates
of STDs have soared in the US since the Harry Potter
books started to get published in 1997 (I have data to
back this up), and the FIFA soccer World Cup is a
Freemasonist conspiracy holding a country-wide orgy of
abominations that maketh their cup overflow this
summer in Naziland!
Tally ho!

Lurls, for Lulz

I'm guessing its like The Onion, a very cruel satire of some Christian fundamentalism. I doubt it's actually serious.

OMG, you doubt the word of god. After some study at the site, I have learned you have false beliefs. Fix them, please. :p

What? I don't doubt the Word of God at all. I'm a Christian and I think we collectively need to show more love and less judgemental attitudes.

Or were you picking on my mispelling?

These people just take every little coincidence and pass it off as fact,
though I do admit the Bush being a satanist page was pretty funny.

While I do believe that pretty much all evil in this world originated from the original sin, (Adam and Eve being tempted by the serpent to eat the fruit from the tree), I don't think that there is some kind of huge, Satanic conspiracy. Jump to conclusions you fall to ignorance.

Look, Salazar, since you were too thick to get this
info from my earlier message, let me spell it out for
you:
1. I am an atheist.
2. And a satirist.
3. The 'article' on exposingsatanism is a hoax, and my
following one on STDs will be too.
4. I don't give a friggin' farthing about Lovecraft,
that is so passe.

Cheers, have a good life back in Texas. Are you sure
there isn't something in the water?

Sadly, there are Christians out there who are convinced that Pokemon is a dangerous, seductive evil. More commonly though, those Christians think Pokemon isn't itself evil, but is a "gateway to sin," in that it's not harmful but it could endanger one's relationship with God because of what it encourages, eventually leading to Satan worship.

Suffice to say I don't share their views at all.

I can't find an article on this, but does anyone recall that Pope John Paul II had to verbally backhanded the naysayers and stated that Pokemon is not dangerous at all?

He apparently liked Harry Potter, too.

This website is wierd. When ever I see these websites, I think "What's horrible next? Hamsters?!?" Although Christmas and Easter are both pagean holidays, they are still Cristian.
This website is probably looking for things to bash. These people are trying to be good in a bad way.
The writer of Harry Potter didn't write the books so children could be "Possesed demons to take over the world," She wrote it to tell a STORY. Same with Digimon, and Pokemon, and Animaorphs.

I'm pretty sure the Animorphs lady wanted to take over the world. There were like 40 books in that series. Toastpaint.
