Maxtrix'd!
Lathe'd!
1st base'd!

The end with strong bad looked weird, the animation was different, looked too forced. BEST. TGS. EVER.

Best. TGS. Ever.

Seriously: 9/10

PROS:
"Corn is no place for a mighty warrior!"
"Chips are no place for a mighty warrior!"
3D CGI Thing
A spinner
Strong Bad making out with the piece of looseleaf

CONS:
Got boring towards the end
Easter eggs weren't great

Y'know, I was thinking that too. Strong Bad's just seemed to go more... fluid. Er. Fluider.

Only because the framerate is higher. Flash's default framerate is 12fps - which is about the lower limit for most people being able to distinguish animations from a series of pictures. TGS10 is 20fps - so a lot of the animations are smoother.
As people have said, the framerate was increased so the 3-D rotating scene would work - motion that fast would look bad at only 12fps. But changing the framerate in one place in a flash movie means you change it everywhere - so other animations end up looking smoother too.

I've been thinking, and watching the toon repeatedly, and I've noticed something. If I'm the only one, I'll shut my mouth.

Doesn't Olympics Man kinda look like Phil from Bonus Stage? He's got the hair and the oval face, but that's about it. Crossover'd?

And doesn't the Not-Ugly One kinda look like MHG a little? She's got the hair down pat.

I'm rambling. Buhh.

So, in this episode, we saw The Ugly One turn out to be hot. Perhaps in future episodes we'll see:

1. Cheerleader enter a convent
2. So-and-so fail the SAT
3. What's-her-face win the "Most Popular Award"

Anything is possible now...

I don't know...Manolios' Lectro-Pawn spiel seems awfully similar to Senor Cardgage's sale on Senorial Day.

Just saw it today - and the first Teen Girl Squad update since I joined the forums, woah. Fine piece of work.

The Ugly One's dad reminded me SO MUCH of Senor Cardgage it just cracked me up.

I laughed so hard watching this one. A Mighty Warrior was hilarious. And the end was really funny, with SS, SM, and Teh Cheat. It was kinda creepy though too. Making out with a paper? :-|

Wow!! I really loved this one, especially the non-sequitur Mighty Warrior, but I'm surprised everyone else did! It's such a departure in style, I expected major complaints. But I'm glad most everyone else loves it as much as I did! :trogdor:

I agree with the two or three other people who've said they pictured So and So as a brunette. Cheerleader was blonde by default and WHF and the ugly one just had lines for hair, but So and So was kind of open for interpretation. Hn. Maybe someone'll get a dye job around episode 15 or 20.

And now, of course, my easily-influenced artist's side wants to draw TGS for some reason. Maybe I'll color it and wreak the havoc of my doodles upon all y'all's eyes, and maybe I won't.

As a result of this cartoon we can say with confidence that SB likes ladies with huge and/or expandable ribcages. Or ladies with the general shape of a soup spoon.

Yeah, he defenitely was, I noticed that ytoo. Probably because the rate was faster because of the 3D thing, so they made sb faster too. Plus, they don't have to do too much animation with TGS, so they can do cooler stuff when they only have to do a bit.

My favorite TGS, this is.

And now I got a new all time best H*R quote.
"Uh-oh. We got a spinner."
Just cause it's like this happenes all the time to SB; it's a recurring problem.

What, toastpaint? oh yes, the toon...it was definitly great. When he said "LATHE'D" it sounded exactly like my friend Wyatt doing his TGS impression. Very nice.[/quote]

Yeah, as hilarious as that was (and it was) it was really freaking creepy. But I do love Strong Mad's expression at the end.

Yeah, I can't think of a better example of how I often feel really uneasy when a cartoon or movie character gets caught doing something embarassing and creepy, as if they're a real life person, than the ending of this with SB. I mean that in a good way, of course - TBC really did a great job of toying with our emotions. ;)
