In the powered by the cheat cartoons, who supposedly does the voices of the characters? I mean, I know that it's really Mike, but which h*r character does the voices?

I think it's supposed to be The Cheat. I've seen discussions of this around here before; that's really all we got.

Like I've said before, I still have this theory that within the H*R universe, Strong Sad and Coach Z contribute to voices on PBTC cartoons, since Mike's voices for them most closely resemble the actual ones, and they're the two that collaborated with The Cheat on videos before (Experimental Film, Hip Hop Dance). I'll also buy into the idea (I forget who came up with it) that The Cheat uses a text-to-speech program on the other characters, especially SB and Homestar.

I don't think Strong Bad helps with the voices, as what he says after the PBTC cartoons show that he hasn't seen the cartoon before. Coach Z possibly, but I think it's just The Cheat, even though he can't talk. That's supposed to be the humor of it.

the text-to-speech idea makes sence. Homestar and SB sound kind of poorly voiced.

Yeah, we have, but I can't find any, so this can stay open I guess.

yes. I think the voices are just computerized by The Cheat.

Maybe Teh Chort does what I did. Record some voice samples, then stitch them together to make new words. For the heck of it, in front of my friends I took a speech sample from our school vice prinicpal and stitched his voice to say cuss words. In theory you could basically make any word. It would have been a fun senior prank to play that over the PA and make him say some vulgar stuff. Or at least weird stuff. ("attention. Everybody is free to trash the school.")
Anyways, back to the subject- the bad quality of the voices is probably due to a bad microphone. Sometimes he might mis-stitch, causing clips to come out weird ("I can ride I can do cartwheels" or "how did what's your secret?") However, The Cheat can easily record his own voice and say stuff properly. That doesn't explain Marzipan of course.
Say, I'm love to see what Strong Sad, Strong Mad, KOT, and Homsar are like in PBTC cartoons. Haven't seen Pom pom show up, although that's pretty easy to do.

SS has been in a PBTC toon. He's sad that he's flying. And the King's PBTC voice can be heard in Sample of Style. I'd like to see what The Cheat thinks of Homsar, though.

But the PBTC Strong Sad had no lines in that video.

Strong Sad and The Cheat have an odd relationship - in that TC is hostile towards SS when SB is around, but then plays board games with him (cf Where's the Cheat) and collaborates with him on PBTC projects (cf Strong Sad Lament, Experimental Film). So it's possible that Strong Sad does do the voices for PBTC - all the PBTC characters sound so whiny anyway.[/i]
