I vote YES! i actually hate the show now (not the old stuff).

Yes, this season has dissapointed me somewhat. The plots just aren't as good, they're kinda akward.

Yes, I used to watch the Simpsons religiously, but it's like meh. But I'll still watch new ones once in a while, it doesn't suck that bad.

Seasons 2 through 7 were brilliant.
8 through 14 were absolutely horrible.
It picked up a bit after that, but never regained its quality.

If it's any good as Season 6 it probably is.

But I'm not sure I trust your Simpsons judgment, after saying that seasons 8-14 are the best and that you *GASP* DON'T LIKE THE LISA EPISODES! There's more to the Simpsons than just being funny, you know. But still, season 8 looks like it'll have a lotta awesome stuff.

one reason that it sucks now is all it is is
1: fat jokes
2: sex jokes
3: and jokes about alcoholism.
and it is not the good humor they had before, yes i know times have changed in the last 20 years but if what i listed above is all the jokes they can make... than *shields up* they should cancel the show... (dont hurt me)

The Simpsons just may be the most annoying thing on television (with the exception of the evilest show ever, The Fairly OddParents!). I'm sorry, y'all, but yes, it's decreased in quality, and it's decreased our standards of what quality television truly is.
