Are Bubs and Coach Z gay?!?

I think it's there, but left unaddressed and just sort of an unspoken weird background thing. It would break the flow of ridiculidity in the series to have an episode focusing on ANYONE'S love life; they barely even pay attention to :hr:

and

's actual RELATIONSHIP except to say they're breaking up in some comical fashion.

Bubs, I think, just generally dislikes everyone invading his space, and probably Coach Z most of all. But of all the characters, Coach Z gets the most fun poked at his sexuality. He seems to be leaning sharply towards the territory of a depraved-and-desperate bisexual as the series goes on, and it's becoming kind of a toss-up if his creepy stalker-ness is going to be pointed towards Marzipan or Bubs or whoever in any given appearance. He does have more than 2 problems after all.

But like I say, I think the Bros. Chaps are opposed to bringing in any serious or controversial stuff to the site.

I don't get any of this. What little sexuality there is in the Homestar Runner body of work is at best at a second-grade level—crushes and vague notions of boyfriends and girlfriends but nothing for real. As far as mature, serious relationships go, the series is about as asexual as you can get. The characters aren't straight, gay, or bisexual. They're not anything. Except dumb animal characters.

i think z goes after anything he can get, hes just that desperate. hes just clingy towards bubs cause hes the only person who's nice to him. i think its sweet. :3

Maybe, like everyone else says, they're bisexual. You raise an interesting point though, with question #2. If he [Coach Z] is so annoying, than why are they lifestyle partners?

Agreed. PlaidCat is totally right with the whole "little too much" bit. What's wrong with two heterosexual or bisexual men being friends, or lifestyle partners? I know I sound like a smart-aleck, but really, just let the two [ :bubs:

Coach Z is a bit crazy in the head and thinks he's a girl. Bubs doesn't know how to fix this.

I've heard quite a few people say, 'No, they're not in a relationship, TBC wouldn't do something that serious.' And, 'No, this is supposed to be little kid friendly.' So lemme get this straight - Boy + Girl = Okay for Little Ones. Boy + Boy = Step Away From The Computer. Or maybe not that extreme, but you get what I'm saying. Although, maybe you just mean there are no serious relationships whatsoever. not just gay/lesbian/bisexual ones. That would make a lot more sense.
Then again, of course, there are all the people who are saying 'You're reading into it too much, it's just a cartoon.' Which, frankly, I agree with 100%.
