Personally, I think it will. But we shall see.

I'm not sure. They would be able to make a movie, but how would they put it online? The trailer was like 10 MB, so the movie would be pretty big, unless it is really low quality. But I think that they could make a great Peasant's Quest movie.

If they do make a movie out of it, it'll be for DVD.

Probably, but then again, I would have thought that if TBC make a new DVD, it will have toons and shorts and stuff. I was expecting the first DVD to have that stuff, but instead it had Strong Bad Emails.

The trailer stands on its own as a clever sort. Besides, look at the subtitles in the "Shorts" section. Under "Peasant's Quest Preview" it says "Coming Soon from Videlectrix". Sure enough, a game materialized. The subtitle below "Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer" is "Real Life Adventure!" I am sorry, but I just don't see an feature-length Peasant's Quest film in the cards.

Now do I want TBC to make a Peasants Quest movie? YESH! But is it gonna happen, exprobably not. They are probably just teasing us with this trailer. A movie would be really great though.

Byut like what the others ahead of me said, it's gonna be costly in not only time but in money as well. I would LOVE to see the movie, but I really don't think it's gonna happen. Maybe like 52% sure it's not gonna happen.

If they did make it (and that's a very big 'if') I can't see them releasing it on anything but DVD. Do you have any idea how huge that sucker would be if they put it on the website? And how long it would take to load, especially with multiple people trying to view it at the same time? No, I doubt that's going to be happening any time soon.

...

Unless, perhaps, they broke it into several parts. You know, 'Part 1', 'Part 2' and so on and so forth...

Yeah, don't mind me. I'm just (most likely) getting my hopes up for nothing is all.

Personally I think a serial isn't all that unlikely. A few minutes every few weeks. They could complete maybe a half-hour or forty-five-minute story arc in a year or so. I'm not betting on it, but it seems the sort of route TBC would be inclined to go.

I don't think that the Chaps could stretch out a 30 minute game into a 90 minute movie, so I'ma have to say no.

Personally I think it would be about 15 minutes.

Not a movie, a short film. Like with making of and stuff. Just like a section on a dvd, not a whole dvd just for this.

I hope they make one, but i'm not getting my hopes up to high. Although, it would be cool to have a SL t-shirt like Rather Dashing.

No, I think it's just a parody. Ya never know, though, those Chaps are tricky. Like the trout I have in my socks.

It seems very, very likely to me that they'll start selling a Scalding Lake t-shirt soon. And I'm gonna buy one.

You forgot to put 'maybe, maybe not'. A movie would be cool, but if they put all that up, h*r would be down for like, until 20X6. Remember the trailer? And plus, they would be so busy working on it to do the emails, or those occasinal (sp) toons. But it would still be cool.

Yeah, I seriously doubt it. I mean like in the PQ game trailer it said "coming in august 2004" or something like that. In this one there's no indication that it will actually come out. Most likely a joke.

You have to remember that the trailer was a joke, or rather, a fake Superbowl Commercial. I doubt that this will actually come to light.

Yeah, It's probably just a joke. Just a joke... a mere jest if you will.

DAMN YOU CHAPPIES! DAMN YOU!

Oh. Yes. I really do wish for a Peasant's Quest movie, but where will they find the time? put a message up saying "We're in Hawaii" and then a month or so later BAM! "Peasant's Quest DVD for sale at the store NOW!" Aint gonna happen, fools.

If there is indeed a movie, we don't know how long they've been working on it; and since movie trailers are made after shooting, they could be in the editing process or they could already be done. Maybe it is done and they're just trying to find a suitable medium.

I e-mailed da' Chaps about that, asking if they were ever going to sell Scalding Lake t-shirts. Maybe they'll give me one for free (if ever they start to sell, that is)!

You've got to be joking. You are joking, right?

Ugh. I shudder at the thought of a theater-released Peasant's Quest.

Heh, so did I. No reply yet. And I don't expect any free t-shirts any time soon.

I don't think they'd realease it into theatres. In fact, I'm pretty confident they wouldn't.

I don't think that there's going to be a peasant's quest movie. That would frankly be radiculous. It's obviously just for fun :-D
