Seeing the Old-Timey Decemberween cartoon in "Decemberween Short Shorts" got me to thinking what a Stinkoman Decemberween would be like. How do they celebrate the holidays on Planet K in the year 20X6? Probably with fighting and challenge, but I wanted to know what you guys thought.

ert, i don't think that would be as good as a regular decemberween cartoon. Mainly because nor Stinkoman, 1-Up, 20X6 Marzipan ect. ect. are as funny as Strong bad and Homestar. Besides it wouldn't have all the normal people.
it just wouldn't work out

ARE YOU ASKING FOR SOME HOLIDAY CHEEEEEEER?!

I think the 20X6-ers are a lot funnier than the 1936 guys. They don't make me laugh. At all.

I'm telling you one line like
Quote:
ARE YOU ASKING FOR SOME HOLIDAY CHEER?
is kinda funny. one line won't make a 6 minute cartoon.

Why not just have it like a bunch of normal anime Christmas episodes mashed into one? Fighting something to save Decemberween because that thing crashed some kind of festival or just the town while everyone's out shopping or something like that. Then stick the obligatory lame background song at the end and some snow at the end while the characters discover a fractured meaning of the holiday and/or love. And then possibly an easter egg with a party with all the 20X6 main characters where 20X6 Coach Z is drunk off of bootleg Listerine or something along those lines...

Okay maybe I'm thinking to much on this...but hey, it would work...

Well it sounds like it would be funny like if Stinkoman had chalange to give gifts to everyone around the world like if he was santa. that would be funny :)

The warm-and-fuzzy action heroes was already done by Let us Give Tanks.

That shows the depravity of our society. Anime is a very shallow topc--making fun of it's fine, but eventually saying DO YOU WANT A CHALLENGE a million times gets annoying. There's a TON of creepy stuff that happened in the '30s, and its all fun to make fun of. Old Timey=Fun Timey!

On the contrary, I think there's quite a bit of depth to be plumbed in anime parody. The problem is that usually takes the form of in-jokes only anime fans will get. :p

Yeah. But if they evened it out to make it so they had the same amount of stuff, everybody would be happy.

The thing is...Cartoons from that era are funny because you watch them and are like "HAHA! WHAT A CORNY JOKE! PEOPLE THOUGHT THAT WAS FUNNY?!"

You can't really do that with cartoons now. It's trying to make something that's funny, by making fun of something that's funny for failing to be funny because that's what was funny when it was made. So it's kinda hard to like...create that humour in the way you want it to be funny. If that makes any sense. Too bad it doesn't. Oh well.

And anime's just easy to make fun of because it's weird as freakin' crap. So it's a lot funnier, to me. C:

GOLLY!

it would be better like that.
maybe if they just released 20X6 vs 1936 and then neither one made another appearance again on the site then everybody would shut up about it

In this whole argument-type-thing, I'm leaning towards 1936, but a stinkoman holiday would be hilarious! It would be great if they combined the different times so that it all blended, as an entire 20X6 cartoon would become bland, in my opinion.

That would be funny. Stinkoman would [s]kill[/s] "challenge" Santa Claus and it would be Crazy Go Nuts!

I think TBC try to keep the Old-Timey and 20X6 appearances random.

Now, I think this is a neat idea.

Stinkoman: (barfs) I can't beleive I lost a challenge because I drank to much eggnog. ( those little anime drunk signs appear over Stinkoman's head )
1-Up: I wanna be the cat too! Meow! ( Drunk from eggless eggnog )
Stinkoman: I still can't beleive I lost a challenge.
1-Up: I still can't beleive that you lost a challenge.
Pan-Pan: ( does his boing thing, but in subtitles says: ) I can't beleive you chuged the entire " special " Christmas drink, 1-up.
1-up: ( passes out )

Ending sequence
