Since there was no Decemberween toon last year, who has any ideas aboyt a toon this year?

A parody of "The Night Before Christmas" would be nice.

I agree. Or A Christmas Carol. Or It's A Wonderful Life. Those would be good as well.

But not The Gift Of The Magi. That would be different, and lame, and differently lame.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if they did that. I'd just like the other stories commonly associated with Christmas better.

Meh, Taco-Man already did "It's a wonderful life".

My idea:

How Strong Bad stole the presents!

Just as long as they beat up Strong Bad at the end :D

Yes, I can see it now. "A Decemberween Carol". Starring Strong Bad as Scrooge Bad and Homestar Runner as Homestar Cratcher.

The scene showing Decemberween Past could be in Old-Timey style and the Future scene in 20X6 style.

I can almost hear Strong Bad yelling, "Decemberween! Bah crap-bug!"

I think Strong Sad would make a better Scrooge because he probably doesn't like Decemberween a whole lot.

(Imagines Strong Sad saying "Bah, humbug!", and is greatly amused)

What does Bah, humbug! even mean?

I've never seen Strong Sad really too mad; that's really his two brothers' job. But anyway, here's who I think could play the ghosts of Decemberween:

1. The Ghost of Decemberween Past, by Sickly Sam (the entire scene is done in the Old-Timey style, possibly 1940?)
2. The Ghost of Decemberween Present, by the King of Town
3. The Ghost of Decemberween Future, by the Poopsmith (the entire scene is done in the 20X6 style)

And as for who could play Jacob Marley's ghost, I was thinking of Strong Mad as Jacob Madley. I can almost hear him saying in that loud monotone voice of his: "YOU WILL BE VISITED BY THREE MORE SPIRITS!!!" ;)

Everything that you can see, do or eat has a parody of A Christmas Carol. H*R NEEDS one!

Scrooge would be Bubs - the "spirits" would be haunting him for having high prices on Decemberween presents.

Marley would be Coach Z... about the closest thing to a 'partner' he has.

Ghost of Christmas Past would be Strong Sad. He'd speak in a spooky voice and show Bubs his past.

Ghost of Christmas Present would be the King of Town... basically in his house/concession stand eating his food, but Bubs would think he's a ghost.

Ghost of Christmas Future would be The Poopsmith.

Bob Cratchet - Strong Bad (in his Tragic Clown Dog outfit).

He'd wake up on Decemberween... and will have learned nothing.

I agree with you 100% here. Everything has been parodied in "A Christmas Carol" style; it's now H*R's turn!

Bubs as Scrooge and SB as Cratchet, eh? That could work. However, SB had quit being the Clown Dog; maybe it could be earlier than the present. How about setting the Decemberweens of Past and Future in the Old-Timey and 20X6 universes, respectively? In the Old-Timey universe, Bubs and Strong Sad are still in color.

The only character who I think could be Tiny Tim is The Cheat, what do you think? I can definitely see the Ghosts of Decemberween Present and Future being played by the King of Town (obsessed with food) and the Poopsmith (his vow of silence), respectively.

Oh, yeah, and a variation on "Bah, humbug!" could be included as well: "Bah, crap-bug!"

So here's the list for who could be who in A DECEMBERWEEN CAROL:

:bubs: as Scrooge (Scroobs)
:sb: as Bob Cratchit (Strong Badchet)
:coachz: as Marley's Ghost (Coach Zarley's Ghost)
 as The Ghost of Christmas Past (The Ghost of Decemberween Past)
:kot: as The Ghost of Christmas Present (The Ghost of Decemberween Present)
:poop: as The Ghost of Christmas Future (The Ghost of Decemberween Future)
:cheat: as Tiny Tim (Tiny Cheat)

The Decemberween Past is shown in the Old-Timey universe (Scroobs and the Ghost of Decemberween Past are in color while the universe is in B&W) and the Decemberween Future is shown in the 20X6 universe.

The question remains, though: who could Homestar, Strong Mad, Pom Pom, Marzipan and Homsar play?

Seriously, who cares? Maybe SB got his job back because he needed the scratch. Point is, the Clowndog outfit is funny.

A reversion of the "Nutcracker" and maybe even "On Ice"
and Bubs can be the Mouse King.

That would be a good idea, too, to take the Nutcracker and bend it an H*R way. And the H*R version of this tale could have numerous The Cheats instead of mice with the Mouse King being replaced by the The Cheat King. Here's a sample of who could be what:

:marzi: as Maria
:bubs: as Drosselmeyer
:hr: as the Nutcracker and the Prince
:sb: as The Cheat King

What do you think?

Good but but i think :pom: should be the prince and :coachz: could be the Sugar Plum Fairy.

I really don't like the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker.

if the cheat is tiny tim, he has to be in his Oliver outfit (give us a song, Gun'a'ver?)
I like the ghosts of past and future being in 1936 and 20x6, but instead of Decemberween PREsent, how about Decemberween PEAsantRY? You know you love it...

I'd enjoy something like "A Christmas Story".

Now THAT would be hilarious. I mean, really, as if that movie isn't funny enough already.

Ahahaha...oh, the possibilities. <3
