I read the convo regarding the inevitable "Dripping Yellow Madness" moniker over on the "Cool Things" thread and couldn't resist. It was one of the only parts of the new toon where I laughed aloud ("Hello, dripping yellow madness"). But that's a comment for another thread. Thanks for the welcome.

I hope you enjoy your stay TOPT!!!!!!

Hummmm. Id like to see a short of the KOT dining.

:kot: : Oh POOPSMITH!( :poop: ). Where in sam hill is my pizza?
:poop: : ( shovels a strangely brownish looking pizza out of the oven. Notic that there is a thought bubble above the poopsmith saying " Hehehehehehe. This outta teach him a lesson for making me shovel crap for a living. ;) ).

:kot: : Poopsmith! You burned it!.......No matter ( wolfs down the pizza like he did the butter in " The house that gave sucky treats ". ).
Yum!.

Yeah that would be funny
Very very funny.

I'd like to see all the characters together as little kids. Maybe all the characters could reminisce about an adventure they had as children, and then a flashback occurs. It'd be funny to see a little Homsar, and a little The Cheat would be so cute. :) Maybe we could even see Strong Bad being nice to Strong Sad, since it looks as if he was at one point in time from the "Secrets I Keep" Easter egg. I'd love to see that. :)

A toon that features the Free Country, USA gang as children would be great, but I would hope it would be done in such a way that it wouldn't be too cringe-inducing. Like, cute muppet-babies cringe-inducing.

Honestly, I like the Muppet Babies, but I wouldn't want them to go that route, unless they were openly lampooning the format of the show. This would be right down TBC's alley, seeing as in "Best Thing" they lampoon Saturday morning cartoons from the 80's.

They probably wouldn't do such a toon with all of the characters though, because Homestar Runner and Strong Bad met when they were adults, as illustrated in "Flashback".

I'm not sure how much that story in "flashback" can be believed. I mean, after all, it started out with Strong Bad and Coach Z playing tennis on the moon, then riding a rainbow back down to Earth. :p

Touche.

I doubt a "Homestar Babies" toon would follow any sort of coherent chronology anyway. 1936 and 20X6 exist without relation to the present, why would this one?

I would say "you know we have a wiki right?" but a search there turns up on results. Who is Frederick?

I imagine Frederick is similar to Fabrosi and Van Mundegaarde (and probably others) in being a character who is referred to out of nowhere as if we're supposed to know who he is

Not only that, but I have never seen a "characters as kids" translation of anything done well. Family Guy attempted it and it was awful, Muppet Babies was cute but awful compared to The Muppet Show, the list goes on. It would end up being more creepy and/or stupid than anything.

I don't want to see too many crossovers. 20X6 vs 1936 didn't work well for me since I like to envision them all as separate entities and not able to interact. I also get a little perturbed when characters start interacting with stuff that SB just makes up during the course of an email. Trogdor excluded because he's not actually walking around.

Of course, I could always get into my disdain that Senor Cardgage showed up, despite how much I love the character.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't like it when humans are drawn in the toons? When I saw the father in Cardgage Mortgage I didn't know what to think of it, but it didn't feel right to me.

You're not the only one. I don't like that man. He is incredibly out of place.
