I'm not sure how much that story in "flashback" can be believed. I mean, after all, it started out with Strong Bad and Coach Z playing tennis on the moon, then riding a rainbow back down to Earth.

Touche.
I doubt a "Homestar Babies" toon would follow any sort of coherent chronology anyway. 1936 and 20X6 exist without relation to the present, why would this one?
Not only that, but I have never seen a "characters as kids" translation of anything done well. Family Guy attempted it and it was awful, Muppet Babies was cute but awful compared to The Muppet Show, the list goes on. It would end up being more creepy and/or stupid than anything.
I don't want to see too many crossovers. 20X6 vs 1936 didn't work well for me since I like to envision them all as separate entities and not able to interact. I also get a little perturbed when characters start interacting with stuff that SB just makes up during the course of an email. Trogdor excluded because he's not actually walking around.
Of course, I could always get into my disdain that Senor Cardgage showed up, despite how much I love the character.
Also, am I the only one who doesn't like it when humans are drawn in the toons? When I saw the father in Cardgage Mortgage I didn't know what to think of it, but it didn't feel right to me.
