Yeah, when I first started coming to the site, I kinda had an idea that there were these things called "easter eggs", but it took me awhile to realize how they worked. These days, I just use the ol' TAB trick (which is harder than it used to be since they put the little menu at the bottom of every page). The only eggs I don't usually find on the first try are the keyboard ones; I let someone else fiddle around on their keyboard for hours to find those. :p By the way, does the TAB trick really crash some people's browsers? That would be sad...

I am editing this post because I just realized I am eligible for a....

TOTPD! :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance: :[ :p

The easter eggs that are the best hidden are easter eggs that require you to push a button (e.g. Mile), in games where you have to type in completely random things (get dagger, who the heck found that out anyways?), and the one from suntan where you have to click the little G on Gooblies for Homsar...that was hard for me. Thank goodness for the wiki!!!

"get dagger" was a joke from the E-mail birds, where SB played a text adventure. It said "there is a dagger and another dagger" SB typed "get dagger", it replyed "what is 'dagger'"

Email birds was made before the dungeonman game, but the DVD was released afterwards.

Myself, I never would've known about the egg in The House that Gave Sucky Treats without checking the wiki.

And the PQ 'secrets' or responses are basically just typing in random commands and trying everything. A lot of the ones I found came from having beta tested text adventures where it's expected to try and take 51 napkins out of the 50-napkin container, for example.

Has anyone mentioned the one in the SBEmail "comic" where you gotta click on the names to see the states when SB reads "I would really appriciate it", and then you don't have much time to click on the very top of all the states to see...something.

That didn't make much sense, now did it?

EDIT: Yeah, someone mentioned it.

How about the one in comic where you can make the underwear appear on the names of the girl's states? You know, Virginia, Joy, Jennifer and Kristen?

I think the egg is that you can only make them appear. but, I know in the email Weird Dream you can make undewared-states appear.

See how hard this Easter Egg is? Actually, if you click on the girl-names states near their tops, underwear appears on them too.

That's why I thought that one was the hardest Easter Egg to find. Not many people know about it.

The NES Endings easter-egg-within-an-easter-egg from "japanese cartoon." I never would have found it without the wiki.

Strong Bad tries all the function keys, right? But watch the e-mail, does he ever use the Q key? =D There's your answer, or at least mine.

Any key-presser, or the floppy on Strong Bad's head in funny. There's also the Livin' It Up sub-egg.

The button pressing one in Homestar's Fluffy Puff commercial that put the silhouette of Lincoln's head on it. Or maybe the "kids, don't eat nails" one in Meet Marshie.

One of the hardest ones to tab for is in 'vacation.' One of the postcards, you click on the yellow window, and the tab-box is the same color, and pretty much is hidden by the window. I always thought that was a tricky one.

The ghost of john is a quite hard one, especially without the tab key.

Ruling out keypresses, I'd say the hardest ones to find are the ones randomly thrown in in the middle of the toon, such as the one in "funny" where you have to click on SB's face during the "pont-REER" part to make Homestar lean in.

The guitar rockout from an email of which the name has eluded me. I think it required pressing 'q'. I had to find that on the wiki.

Not if you're an avid swf viewer like me. Anyways, I was reading through this thread, and discovered easter eggs for toons and sbemails I didn't check the wiki on. I wonder who finds these harder ones. My only guess is that they use a decompiler.

I found the Teen Girl Squad easter eggs to be hard to find at first. I always thought that easter eggs were found in Strong Bad Email's up until that point. But then I remembered that it was a Strong Bad-made 'toon, so then it made sense.

And I found the Limozeen easter egg on the first watch-through. :)

The "Kertified Klown Kare" egg in long pants and the Homestar egg in funny.

the hardest for me is in the process when he is saying that you can click on the words, then like every word he types is an easter egg. i still haven't seen them all!
