Alright, so my friend has a 360 right? So whenver he plays it, a bunch of black lines go up and own on his screen, kinda like how it looks when you're videotaping a TV.

Help?

Location: He remembered Socks!
Check the connectors, he might have it set to HDTV instead of regular. If that doesn't work, maybee he has the wires mixed.
