I'm HOPING only one more week until I get mine. I'm on a list; I'm number 18, and I just pray that Tuesday's shipment gives the Wal*Mart I'm on the list on gets at least 18 Wii's.

I should be able to get the Wii on Christmas, or maybe earlier. It might be kinda hard though, because the Wii is selling like freakin' hotcakes with iPods stuffed in 'em. My local Gamestop sold out on the first day! Which is saying something, because nearly everyone I saw in my area thought the Wii would suck.

Two questions for Wii owners:

1) Is it compatible with the GameBoy Player?

2) Can it get through WPA encryption?

And that's sad, because I love my GB Player. It's more or less replaced my old GBA, because it can play stuff on the big screen! And it's so much nicer with old GB games, because you don't have to squint at the screen or deal with color distortion.

Yeah, and I have an old GBC MegaMan game that I can only play on GBP, as I only have a DS and a GCN. Oh, and the game is Dr. Wile's Revenge, in case you're wondering.

The wal-mart we were at had 28. My mom was 22 and my brother was 20. My sister, brother, and I all live in different houses. My sister lives in tucson and my brother in tempe.

I played bowling, tennis, and golf. And I think they're pretty fun. They kinda wear you out though.
I watched my sis play twilight princess a little. It takes a while to get used to the wiimote. It's quite different from the traditional controller.

Yeah, that's what the guy at Best Buy said. He bought one before the store was open, and he and his buddies had a massive SSBM tournament in the store.

Strange how almost every game store in my city has plenty of Wiis, but are all sold out of Zelda.

tomorrow is black thursday and my dad and i are planning to go up to my local eb games and see if we can grab a wii. it said in the flyier then got a shipment of them and TP in...so yeah..also 2 gig mem card for psp is 40 bucks..yay

I know this one guy at a hip-hop forum who says the Wii is "kiddie" and "the poor man's PS3." He's a cool dude, but c'mon, this guy's got gaming backwards.

He's an aspiring rapper, who lives a clean, suburban life, so I suppose he just uses M-rated video games as a form of braggadocio seperate from big pimpin' and packin' a tech nine. Really, he practically rates games on how cool they look or how violent they are. He even discredits Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 because the violence is "cartoony" as he says, and claims that "nobody cares about" Super Smash Bros. Melee and Metroid Prime. He also recommends Leap Frog games to Nintendo gamers.

This guy's an example of the opposite of a hardcore gamer. More like a hardcore lamer!

At least he raps just as good as any mainstream cat.
