Maybe it's just me, but even if Rather Dashing does have insanely high popularity, linking to a six-year old game from the main page at the same time store links pop up in more places makes it seem like TBC want to make more money by living in the past. I know the message started out as a Trogday tie-in, but Trogday ended two months ago for Pete's sake. After Princess and the Frog failed to turn a profit, which some attribute to the advertising's constant replaying of clips from '90s Disney movies*, making money through reminders of past glories doesn't seem very wise. I personally think TBC should replace it with a link to SBCG4AP, which not only came out more recently, but also requires money to play. Do you agree that Peasant's Quest is too old to continue promoting so heavily?
EDIT: This thread originally had a poll about removing the ad, but it felt unnecessary after its removal on April 2. Here were the final results:
Should TBC remove the main page's link to "Peasant's Quest"? Yeah, that game really isn't getting any younger. 100% [ 3 ] No way! We'll never get sick of visiting Peasantry! 0% [ 0 ]
*Regarding The Princess and the Frog, I personally blame the fact the advertising seemed to emphasize the characters' worst gags over qualities like Tiana's determination or the Shadow Man's delicious deviousness, but that's another story.
