I finally got everything I need to Stink, Dress, and be on fire like a Peasent but, it just keeps saying I'm dressed good but I don't smell and I'm not on fire. :-(

Since I haven't played the game for years, I can't really help you beyond directing you to the Wiki's walkthrough. Maybe you missed something in the game that the Wiki has highlighted?
