There are plenty of people who can have a perfectly intelligent conversation while occasionally swearing. I'm one of them. Just because somebody else doesn't think a swear word is ever the right word for a given situation doesn't mean I feel that way. If I think it's the right word, I use it. My IQ is well above average, I can program a computer in about a dozen languages, and I think I'm a decent writer with a pretty expansive vocabulary, so I don't think my choice of words can be attributed to unintelligence. There are some ways I can be about as intelligent as a doorknob, but that has more to do with lack of common sense.
I think intelligence is overrated, though. Being intelligent certainly doesn't make my life easier and sometimes I wish I were dumb. So don't think I'm bragging... far from it.

Kef makes a good point here, sometimes people use profanity to augment how they speak. There's no direct relationship between swearing and intelligence, heck even TBC do it now and again in interviews.
