I just thought that it would be best to annoy the heck out of people

Get this carefully,
Once you're on the website go to the games menu and click on any version of the pearls before swinegame
Oh and there are detour hyperlinks in this post, good luck finding the right one. this game annoys me though, can anybody beat juan? (the guy with the cape)

Ugh. Speaking of annoying, if you're going to link to something, just link to it. Here's a direct link to the game.

This game is actually just a version of Nim. Wikipedia has an article about it. It's a very easy game to win if you know the math behind it, and of course the computer does so it's pretty much unbeatable unless you know the right strategy (or are very lucky). This page has info on the strategy, plus a handy Java calculator for crunching the numbers.

You want to beat the game, you have to figure it out the hard way, just like I did. Or you could, I don't know, try the Popular Search Engine Google.

Meh...I learned the strategy by essentially forcing the computer to play itself. You have two windows of the game open, one where you start and one where the computer starts. Whatever the computer starting move is, you copy it in the other game. Then whatever that second game plays right after it, copy it back to the first game. Repeat process until one game wins.

So.. essentially, you didn't learn the strategy at all. You just took yourself out of the equation entirely. Kind of like watching sports on TV...

No...through forcing the computer to play itself, I gradually started learning what he was doing so I could use those techniques myself.
