When your friends prank call you and think they're hilarious.

First of all, prank-calling people you know makes you look n00bish and stupid, and second, it's not funny, it's just plain annoying.

My Pet Peeve: It doesn't happen to me often, but when people say they're random and then TRY to be random.

Example: HAHA! I'm random! PUPPIES! See! HAHAHAHAHA! -gets shot-

It's not funny. I'm random, but I don't do that. But sometimes I will randomly say a word, but I don't do it TO BE random, I do it because I feel like it. If you TRY being random, it's obvious and stupid and annoying.

I hate that mentality. Sure, meteorologists arent always 100% correct, but they are right the vast, vast majority of the time. And when a weather forecast covers an entire county, and it says that it's gonna rain, that doesnt mean that it's going to rain on every square inch of the county. If it said rain, and it didnt rain at your house, that doesnt mean it was sunny all over the world.

Peeve: Getting an itch on the bottom of my foot.

It never goes away. I rub my foot on the ground until I get a 3rd degree rug burn and it doesn't go away.

It's not irrational to dislike them. It's irrational to fear them, though. When I worked at Hooters (yes, I've worked at Hooters), we had an assistant manager named Joshua Winch. In almost all respects he was a very normal and very cool guy, but he was really scared of clowns. If you put up a picture of a clown in the office as a joke, he'd take it down and actually have to look away while doing so. Don, the head manager and also my stepdad, played a prank involving clowns on him every now and then.

I have my own share of irrational fears, though. For one thing, I hate killing insects and spiders by smashing them, but have no problem with spraying or flushing them. And, though I got over this one years ago, I used to have an irrational fear of the Blue Screen of Death in Windows. There was one time when it was particularly likely to come up when I shut down my computer, so I usually had my mother shut it down for me. ^^;
