Category talk:Video game references
From Homestar Runner Wiki
[edit] Category name
Shouldn't the name of the category be capitalized complete (Video Game References) to reflect HRWiki style guide? wbwolf (t | ed) 21:38, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- Great question. As far as I can see, we don't have a written rule about it at either HRWiki:Manual of Style or HRWiki:Standards. Traditionally, articles in the main space have had "title case" titles, though there have been some attempts to move in the direction of Wikipedia-style titles (e.g., Homestar Runner universe and Inconsistencies within the Homestar Runner universe).
- There's been even less consistency in the titles of categories. A lot of the more recent ones have only capitalized the first letter, whereas a lot of the older ones have gone with title case. This is probably a discussion that should take place someday at HRWiki talk:Manual of Style. At any rate, this is what we're currently doing, so for a category, it's not clear which should be done instead of the other. Hope that helps, Trey56 03:30, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
