*The clock on Mrs. Bennedetto is stuck on 9:48.
*This email is the first to show the back of the [[Lappy 486|Lappy]] clearly. (It was obscured by Strong Bad's arm in [[animal]]) It is the 3rd time Strong Bad has checked his email in an unusual place; he has also checked his e-mail on Pom-Pom's [[Pom Pilot]] in [[the bird]] and later on [[Tangerine Dreams]] in [[weird dream]].
*In the picture of himself that Strong Bad puts on Mrs. Bennedetto at the end of the email, his left hand does not have a boxing glove on it and you can see three fingers.  This is the first time we have seen Strong Bad's fingers or hand without the boxing gloves on.  Also, his mouth has teeth, instead of just a gap in his mask.
*This is only the fourth email where Strong Bad's email song does not include the word "email".
*This is the only email where you manually have to make the paper come down at the end of it.
* This is the second time Bubs criticized Strong Bad about his "email show". the first time was in the  email [[the process]].
*This is the first time Strong Bad answers an email in a house where he is unwelcome but Homestar is.  Usually Strong Bad answers emails in his house and Homestar is the unwelcome guest.

*Bubs has apparently discontinued his "free weekly spamvertisements" from [[unused emails]], from which Strong Bad was making $1250 (5000 emails x a quarter each) every time he sold a disk of addresses.
*Notice Bubs' promotion is the opposite of what would be sensible:  You can get two cups of ice while paying only for the one that costs less or the same. This is the same kind of logic which allows [[The King of Town]] to have  "earned a free combo meal by purchasing one of equal or lesser value".
*When Strong Bad is late to work, he grabs the frame of the cartoon, another confusion as to whether he knows he's in a cartoon or not.
*Apparently the Lappy 486 also comes with a wireless Internet card. Either that or Strong Bad downloaded his emails before heading to Marzipan's.
*The Lappy has a battery life of 5 minutes, but this email lasts only 3 minutes 9 seconds and the Lappy cuts off. However, it's explainable by the fact that not every moment is accounted for, such as Strong Bad going to and returning from [[Bubs' Concession Stand]], and Strong Bad putting on his costume, not to mention the time it took for the Lappy to boot up.
*Strong Bad also has an unspecified job at [[The Office]].
*Hunter's question was effectively answered just 10 emails ago in [[other days]].
