The Dumpes are Crazy Go Nuts Universities (CGNU) sports team. When coming up with the name Strong Bad Strong Mad and The Cheat were hungry confused and tired. However what they meant to write was dumplings. In the CGNU Dumples song they say the words "Wondering what a dumple is," meaning that dumples was just a mistake written on the application sheet.
So far the Dumples only known opponents are a big pile of electronics while the sport was smashing the electronics with a golf club.
