*This email was the longest email when released, almost a full minute longer than [[flashback]] (previously the longest). However, it has since been surpassed by [[retirement]].
*When Strong Bad jumps down several panels in the Strong Badman comic, he passes a panel containing an explosion (with the word "TADAOW!"), and another panel with [[Strong Badman Characters#Deutschman|Deutschman]] (from [[haircut]]) holding a chain of sausages.  Deutschman is saying "KINDER UBERRASCHUNG!!", the German name for [[Wikipedia:Kinder Surprise|Kinder Surprise]] (though Uberraschung should be spelled &Uuml;berraschung).
*The label on the disk in the floppy disk container reads "[[Floppy Disk Container#weird dreams|weird dreams]]".
*This is the first time Stinkoman has been seen smiling without laughing.
*This is the first time the Da Huuuuuudge's voice is heard.

*Senor Cardgage is the only one of Strong Bad's alter egos who had been seen talking with him prior to this email, as seen in [[kind of cool]], [[garage sale]], and [[Senorial Day]].
